Fairtrade accolade for pupils' hard work
THE efforts of one Falmouth primary school to promote equitable trading have received official recognition with the award of Fairtrade School Status.
Every year pupils at St Mary's School mark Fairtrade Fortnight with events including coffee mornings, surveys of businesses, sporting events and special assemblies.

Class 6 pupil Freya said: "If you already buy Fairtrade products, why not take it a step further and make sure every product possible is Fairtrade marked? That would make a huge difference."
