Falmouth Aquarium to host community activities

Falmouth Aquarium is running a series of community activities and hosting conservation groups, beginning tomorrow (Saturday November 24) with a session about marine mammals.

The Cornwall Wildlife Trust will lead the event, which is for Seaquest volunteers with limited space for the public, from 10am until 3pm which is about a marine recording project collecting sighting details from the public.

Johanna Naradzay from the aquarium in Church Street, said: "It is a great chance for the public to learn more about the large marine mammals that visit our shores in Cornwall."

On Monday Lauren Timson, who has carried out research with the Seahorse Trust, will give a talk at 6.30pm in conjunction with the bioscience club at the University of Exeter at Tremough.
