Under-fire Falmouth head teacher Heather Taylor resigns
THE under-fire head teacher at a Falmouth primary school has resigned.
Cornwall Council yesterday told the West Briton that the governors at King Charles Primary School confirmed that Heather Taylor has resigned her post as head teacher.
It follows weeks of controversy surrounding her use of a company providing supply teachers which was owned by her husband, and a damning Ofsted report.
Two Cornwall Council investigations established there had been no wrongdoing on her part in relation to the use of the company, SupplyNet.
Falmouth School head teacher Claire Fortey is serving as interim head for the primary.
