Falmouth lifeboat called to rescue injured sailor
A rescue team from Falmouth have been called out to help bring an injured crewman ashore.
A small merchant vessel which came into Falmouth Bay to refuel asked for assistance for a crew member who had a broken leg.
The Falmouth all-weather lifeboat was sent to the vessel just after 8am this morning where they were able to bring the Filipino man to land before he was transported to Royal Cornwall Hospital.
The call comes a day after another sailor was rescued from his vessel after sustaining fractures from an onboard fall.
