Family pays tribute to St Agnes motorcyclist Mark Robinson who died last weekend

THE FAMILY of a St Agnes motorcyclist who died following a collision with a lorry have paid tribute to their "caring and gentle" son.

Mark Robinson, aged 21, lost his life on a road at Bissoe near Truro on Saturday at 3.30pm.

He was from a close family who all reside in the local area and he had recently moved to St Agnes with his partner Lesley.

His family statement read: "Mark was a gentle, caring man who was just beginning the next chapter of his life with his partner Lesley. He loved music and was a gifted musician.

Bissoe Road was closed and diversions put in place for approximately eight hours while emergency services dealt with the scene.
