Family rescued after boat runs aground
A mud rescue team were called out to help when a family became stuck as their boat grounded in the mud of Kingsbridge estuary. The family in their RIB Baldrick became stuck on the falling tide on Saturday. Prawle Point Coastguard said there were two adults and two children on board. The South East Sector manager the Salcombe inshore lifeboat and the specialist mud rescue team from Teignmouth attended at lunchtime. All four occupants were brought safely ashore.
