Family tribute to Newquay death-crash cyclist
The family of a cyclist who died after an accident in which he is thought to have hit a stationary car have issued a poignant tribute. Jason Sandford, aged 33, was on his bike when the accident occurred on St Mary's Road, in his home town of Newquay, on Monday, July 16. Yesterday, his family, including his young daughter Saffron, released a touching comment which simply reads: "To live in the hearts of those you love is not to die." Devon and Cornwall Police are continuing to investigate and have appealed for witnesses to contact 101, quoting log 646 of July 16.
