Threat of cliff collapsing closes coast path near Talland Bay
An unstable section of the South West Coast Path to the west of Talland Bay has been closed after fears it could collapse soon.
CORMAC soil engineers visited the site earlier this morning after large tension cracks appeared on a section of the path, which could signal the cliff will slip imminently.
Walkers can avoid the area by using a diversion between the Talland and Polperro road.
Following the recent heavy rains Cornwall Council is urging anyone who spots signs of unstable cliffs to call Cornwall Council on 0300 1234 202.
