Festival of cribs and 50 trees will end soon
THERE are just three days left to see the Festival of Cribs and Christmas Trees at St Mary Magdalene Church in Launceston, which includes around 50 trees and numerous cribs.
The festival was officially opened by the Mayor and Mayoress of Launceston, David and Carole Gordon, on Saturday and will remain open until the close of the late-night shopping evening on Friday.
The festival will be open from 10am until 4.30pm on other days. Admission is free but donations are welcomed for the St Mary's Ceiling Appeal.
St Mary's Choir gave a concert on Tuesday, entitled Christmas is Coming, set among the magical display of the trees.
