Finalists announced for this year's Cornwall Tourism Awards
The finalists have been announced for this year’s Cornwall Tourism Awards.
Over 40 businesses businesses have won a place in the coveted winners roll from a record number of entries following a rigorous judging process in which they were scored, mystery shopped and debated by a panel of industry professionals.
Malcolm Bell head of Visit Cornwall said: “Cornwall is full of some amazing businesses who are continually developing and improving their offering. By recognising and rewarding this, the Awards celebrate and showcase excellence which in turn inspires quality across the industry.”
The 17 award categories cover everything from hotels and restaurants to activities and tourist information, as well as four new thematic attraction categories. There is also a special Wildlife Friendly Business Award and a Winner of Winners title will be awarded on the night.

Those up for awards include Perran Sands Holiday Park, Fal River Visitor Information Centre, Red River Café at Heartlands in Pool and Cosawes Barton in Ponsonooth, The Lost Gardens of Heligan, Trebah Garden, Heartlands, The Alverton in Truro, Feadon Farm Wildlife Centre at Gwel an Mor in Portreath and The Greenbank Hotel in Falmouth.
The winners will be announced at The Headland Hotel in Newquay on November 7.
