Firefighters called back to manor house after remains from past fire start smoking
NINE firefighters were called back to an east Cornwall manor house after remains from a past fire were said to be smoking.
A crew of six in a major appliance and a three-person team in a water carrier were called to the property at Horningtops, Liskeard, this afternoon.
A large-scale blaze had taken place at the house earlier this week.
Crews used two breathing apparatus and a hose reel jet to damp down the hotspots.
