Firefighters examine cause of caravan fire
The cause of a caravan fire in Exeter early yesterday is under investigation. Two fire engines from Danes Castle and Middlemoor were called to a private car park in Frog Street at 3.30am. Crews found the caravan well alight while two nearby cars and adjacent building were slightly damaged by heat. Officers wearing breathing apparatus used one jet and compressed air foam to extinguish the blaze. A thermal imaging camera was used to check the fire had not spread to adjacent properties. Devon and Cornwall Police have been informed.
