Flats with terraces planned for former Falmouth post office site
The historic former Post Office site in Falmouth is to be turned into high-end accommodation for “single people or couples with no children” if plans go ahead.
Plans have been submitted for seven flats, including four with terraces on the first and second floors of the building on the Moor in the centre of town.
The post office on the Moor closed in January 2011 and the ground floor has since been occupied by the Prezzo restaurant.
The first and second floors of the building are currently occupied by the Core Fitness Centre.

The planning application states: “Given the sites highly accessible location and the lack of dedicated car parking, the units are most likely suitable for single people or couples with no children.”
The plans do not propose external works to the main building.
