Football: Good Evans, Harry double rescues point for Falmouth
Falmouth Town 4, Elmore 4
Harry Evans completed a memorable week by scoring two goals to earn Falmouth Town a point against fellow CSWPL premier division strugglers Elmore at Bickland Park on Saturday.
The 18-year-old represented his country on Monday as he helped England Colleges defeat their Australian counterparts 3-2 in Sutton Coldfield.
And he returned to the Town side with a bang, producing a man of the match display, which was capped by his dramatic 88th minute equaliser.

It was Evans’ 12th minute strike that put Town in front when his corner eluded everybody in the box and snuck in at the back post.
But Elmore hit back with two goals of real quality.
The first, after 19 minutes saw Brett Worbey drill his first time effort into the bottom corner to give emergency goalkeeper Richard Kellow no chance.
And then, despite looking suspiciously offside as Town’s defenders appealed, Tom Tricker ran through from the right before firing past Kellow.
When Danny Tapp claimed Elmore’s third goal in the 54th minute, scoring from close range from Tricker’s corner, there didn’t appear to be any way back for John Dent’s men.
But Gary Bell’s brilliant strike into the top corner five minutes later gave Falmouth hope.
And with ten minutes remaining the home side drew level when substitute Andy Westgarth was left with an easy finish virtually on the line from Dominic Batchelor’s deflected cross.
The lead proved short-lived, however, and just two minutes later Elmore were back in front when Kellow, failed to hold on to a loose ball, allowing Tricker to run in and tap the ball into an empty net.
But there was still time for one final twist and it was teenager Evans who had the final say when his deep cross from the right beat everybody and dropped into the far corner of the net.
