Forecast brings out the lifeguards
Lifeguards will be patrolling beaches this weekend as weather forecasters predict a sunny outlook for the South West.
The Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) has confirmed that the charity's lifeguards will be patrolling 67 beaches across the region today and tomorrow.
The beaches covered by RNLI lifeguards include 11 in Dorset, seven in Devon, and 42 in Cornwall.
Steve Instance, RNLI lifeguard inspector for the South West, hopes those grabbing the late sunshine will head for a beach where a lifeguard team are on duty. He said: "Our lifeguards are there to keep people safe, offering useful advice to help prevent accidents and a rapid reaction if something does go wrong.
