Fundraiser for hospice
A HOG roast held at St Mabyn Holiday Park has raised £2,300 for Children's Hospice South West (CHSW).
More than 300 people attended the event and also enjoyed sangria, home-made cakes, face-painting and a disco.
The Lloyd family, who own the park, chose CHSW as a family friend's daughter has recently started to receive support from the hospice.
"We felt that the children's hospice was a really worthy cause and now their work has become more tangible to us due to our friend," the Lloyd family said. "We are very pleased to support such a worthwhile charity and look forward to our next charity event."

Little Harbour Hospice at Porthpean offers short breaks, activities for siblings, palliative and emergency care, end-of-life care and bereavement support.
Fundraiser at Little Harbour, Bernadette Chambers, thanked everyone who helped make the event a success.
"Events like these are fantastic as everyone has such a good time and the money made goes straight towards supporting short and precious lives at Little Harbour," she said.
