Funeral for decorated crash pilot
A HIGHLY decorated pilot who died in a plane crash will be honoured at his funeral today.
Andrew Stillwell-Cox, from Retallick Meadows in St Austell, was killed when his light aircraft crashed into cliffs near Sheep Rock, Portreath, on Saturday, July 21, and burst into flames.
Police confirmed they are investigating whether the father of two took his own life, after a note was found at Perranporth Flying Club.
He leaves behind his children Arran and Ashley, parents Margaret and Antony, siblings Andrea, Adrian and Amanda.

Mr Stilllwell-Cox had a 35-year, highly decorated Royal Navy career after joining at the age of 15 and was working as a training manager for Roselyn Coaches in Par at the time of his death.
His funeral is due to be held today at 10am at St Michael's Church, Helston, followed by interment at Helston cemetery.
