PICTURES: St Austell beer festival a huge success
There will be a few people nursing hangovers this morning after one of the big events on the beer festival diary.
The Celtic Beer Festival, staged in the cellars of St Austell Brewery, was declared a major success.
The atmospheric venue was at full capacity within a couple of hours of opening and doormen were soon operating a one-out-one-in policy.
The proceeds will go towards the St Austell Brewery Charitable Trust.

The event typically raises over £10,000 each year which is donated to good causes in the South West.
There was a record number of beers available this year, with 165 different varieties to taste.
For the first time, the festival hosted a bar in the Old Wine Cellar under the Cornish Brewer's Alliance, with the aim of showcasing as many of Cornwall's 29 breweries.
The Old Bond room hosted 11 bands through the day, including the Mowtown Pirates, Flaming Infidels and Roving Crows.
