St Just's Mark George.
George, who will hand over the St Just captaincy to Gary Thomas this season, has been a member of the MCC for 15 years.
He has applied to play for the MCC South West for several years.
And finally, out of 26,000 applicants, George will finally get the chance to walk out at Lord's in April.
As a member of the MCC, he has toured Brazil, Chile and Argentina.
But now George will finally get the chance to play at the 'home of cricket'.
He said: "It's very good news. Having been a member of the MCC for the past 15 years I've always wanted to play at Lord's.
"I applied again online this year and I received a phone call a couple of weeks ago to say I'd been chosen.
"There are around 26,000 applying for 11 slots so it's obviously very difficult to get a place.
"But I'm really pleased that I'll be getting the chance to start the season with a game at Lord's."
During his career George has won nine Vinter Cups, eight Premier League titles and seven Edwards Cups.
