Goldsithney woman wants help to trace watch of sentimental value
A Goldsithney woman is asking for help to trace a piece of jewellery which holds great sentimental value.
Nicola Monaghan lost her silver-hammered shablool watch while riding past St Hilary School on Monday.
The round-faced watch with opals on it was bought by Nicola with money her grandfather gave her shortly before he died.
“I felt so sad to lose it. Every time I look at it I think of him; I never take it off ever. I suppose most people would say you shouldn’t wear it if it’s that important but that’s the reason I do wear it,” said Nicola.
