Graffiti in the garden
THE Eden Project's Arts Cafe makes a return this Friday with Devon-based graffiti artist Mau Mau giving a live demonstration to a soundtrack of music from the legendary Jelly Jazz.
The event will take place in Eden's iconic Core building and, as well as art, good music, dance and conversation, will offer a selection of fine local food, good beer and wine.

Nathan Mansbridge, of Eden's Earthling programme, will be collaborating with Mau Mau for the graffiti demo and representatives from Greenpeace and the Cornwall Sustainable Energy Partnership will also be on hand to talk to visitors.
Mau Mau's often politically-charged work is regularly mentioned in the same breath as that of Bristol's graffiti legend Banksy.
Mau Mau has done work for Greenpeace and Surfers Against Sewage as well as providing illustration for the recently-released Sewerside Chronicles, a novel about fashion and underground culture written by Tim Lay.
Jelly Jazz – comprising DJs Pete Isaac and Griff – have been running club nights and concerts in the south west of England for 15 years.
Their diverse musical repertoire takes in soul, funk, jazz, Latin, Brazilian, Afro-funk and hip-hop. Their performances at Eden's Arts Cafe events are part of their winter residency at the project.
The Arts Cafe will take place between 7pm and 12.30am on Friday and costs £5 per person.
Those who book in advance through 01726 811972 or www.edenbookings.com will also get a free drink.
