HAYLE 18-month ban

LOSING his licence would mean moving house to find better public transport for a drink-driver, his solicitor told Truro Magistrates' Court.

Michael O'Sullivan, 55, of Copper Terrace, Hayle, pleaded guilty to drink-driving at Pool on December 16, testing at 66mcg in breath, nearly twice the legal limit.

Solicitor Paul Simons said he had been partying the night before he was stopped at 9am.

O'Sullivan was fined £250 and £110 costs and surcharges and banned from driving for 18 months.
