Hair and beauty skills put to the test at Penwith College show
HAIRDRESSING and beauty students at Penwith College showed off their talents earlier this week in a bid to reach the final of the Cornish Skills event.
The students were working to a theme – for level three students it was avant-garde, for level two, the history of film and for level one the theme was glamour.
The event was judged by both industry experts and teaching staff who were impressed by the standards shown.
Prizes were awarded by Cheryl Mewton, director of studies, who said: "I am delighted to be involved in judging this competition.
