Hake hits hat-trick to down Helston
MARTYN Hake inflicted another dent in Helston Athletic's bid for the division one west title by scoring a hat-trick in Dobwalls' 5-4 win over the Blues on Saturday.
Hake gave the home side a second minute lead, but Helston responded immediately and were level within three minutes through Mark Goldsworthy.
Hake added his second, before Joe Eke made it 3-1 before half-time with a fine 25-yard effort.
And with just a minute of the second half played Dan Lawrence made it 4-1.

Dan Stidwell pulled a goal back for the Blues, before Goldsworthy grabbed his second to make it 4-3.
Matt Fox then equalised and Helston looked good for at least a point.
But there was time for one last twist as Hake completed his hat-trick.
Perranporth enjoyed a 5-2 win at home to Bude Town.
The Pilchards led through Paul Robertson's early strike and two goals inside the opening four minutes of the second half from Ed Wilton and Rob Stapleton put them in control.
Adam James pulled a goal back for Bude, Perranporth scored a fourth goal through Josh Burton.
Bude pulled a goal back through Andrew Heywood, before Wilton scored his second of the game in the 86th minute.
Lee Rickard scored four goals as Truro City were beaten 6-3 at St Dennis.
St Dennis led through Kyle Friendship's tenth minute strike, only for Truro to draw level through Ashley Smeeth.
Rickard restored Saints' lead, before adding a second to put them 3-1 up.
Scott Palmer pulled a goal back for Truro from the penalty spot, before a spot kick was awarded at the other end and Rickard made no mistake to complete his hat-trick.
Martin Sleeman scored to make it 5-2, and Rickard then scored his fourth.
Tom Langford grabbed a late consolation for City.
