THE LATEST exhibition at Bodmin's Shire Hall Gallery (above the Tourist Information Centre), features paintings by students working with renowned Bodmin artist Ashley Hanson.

For the past three years Ashley has been running painting workshops at St Breward and Blisland village halls and Truro College and the exhibition presents an opportunity for the artists involved to showcase their work.

Ashley himself has had a good start to the New Year: two of his paintings Penzance 4 and City of Glass 1 have been shortlisted for the Canvas & Cream Art Prize and exhibition in London.

His next workshop, is two-day Working With The Life-Model on consecutive Saturdays, February 25 and March 3, at St Breward Village Hall. The workshop is suitable for all levels of ability and the cost for the two days is £60. There may be an option to attend one day only for £30, subject to availability.
