Harris joins forces with Polish ace Krzysztof Kasprzak to seize pairs title
Chris Harris partnered Polish ace Krzysztof Kasprzak to the Elite League Pairs title at Ipswich last Saturday.
The Coventry Bees duo beat defending champions Poole Pirates' pairing of Chris Holder and Bjarne Pedersen in the final. Cornishman Harris followed his team-mate home, with Holder having to settle for third position.

It was a continuation of Harris's recent excellent form, after the 27-year-old's second-place finish in the previous weekend's Croatian GP in Gorican. He said: "It was a very good night. We were disappointed we were beaten in our first ride, but we're a good pairing and we both go well at Ipswich.
"In this competition you have to team-ride, and it was no good me winning if Krzysztof was last, and vice versa. We were discussing what we were going to do on the first bends, and we knew where each other would be.
"You always want to win trophies, and it was good to get this one in the cabinet, especially after the way Coventry started the season."
It was the second time in three years Harris had won the Elite League Pairs title for Coventry, having partnered Hans Andersen to success in 2008. Harris and Kasprzak did brilliantly in the qualifying heats, recording 26 out of a possible 28 points from their four outings.
The only occasion they were headed came in their first race when they had to settle for second and third places behind Peterborough Panthers' Danish Grand Prix ace Kenneth Bjerre.
The pairings from Eastbourne, Poole and Belle Vue were then all seen off by the Bees in some style, with Kasprzak finishing on 14 points and Harris 12, leaving them three points clear.
The Coventry duo gained revenge over Bjerre in their semi-final, but not before they had been involved in one of the races of the night.
The Bees' duo gated first, but Bjerre shot underneath them on the second bend, only to be passed either side by both riders a lap later. In the other semi-final, Holder and Pedersen had an easy passage against Lakeside, with Jonas Davidsson forced to pull out with injury, and his place was taken by reserve Joe Jacobs, who trailed home last.
