Head-on crash on A30 at Crowlas

Two cars crashed head-on today closing a section of the A30 at Crowlas.

A blue Fiat Punto and a silver Ford Fiesta Zetec collided at 1:33pm.

Police and paramedics were called at the scene and the road was closed.

One driver was fond "walking wounded" and had suffered cuts to their hand and head and cuts and bruises.

They were taken to Treliske Hospital as a precaution.

Traffic was heavily delayed in the area and queues stretched back to Canon's Town.
