The efforts of a Cornish college in promoting a healthy lifestyle among its students and staff have led to a nomination for a special award. Cornwall College, which has campuses across the county in Camborne, Newquay, St Austell, Saltash, Duchy College Stoke Climsland and Rosewarne, and Falmouth Marine School, has been shortlisted in the Active Workplace of the Year Category in the awards organised by Cornwall Sports Partnership. Sporting events in the last year have included cycle-to-work week, while health-related campaigns have also been run. The award will be presented on November 9, at Newquay's Headland Hotel.
