Helston to Penzance lane closure after flooding causes large cracks in road
Part of the main road between Helston and Penzance has been closed after large cracks were discovered on the carriageway.
Recent flooding is believed to have caused the cracks to appear on the road and it could be several months before it reopens.
A 100 metre stretch of the westbound lane of the A394 has been shut near Little Antron Farm, around two miles west of Helston.
Highways engineers are now investigating the extent of the damage as well as how long it will take to fix.
