Heroin addict admits fraud and theft
A WOMAN who stole to feed her heroin habit told the police she had a battle with herself about breaking the law.
"There is no logic, I have got to do what I have got to do," she said.
Lisa Milburn, 34, of Crows an Eglos, St Ives, pleaded guilty at Truro Magistrates' Court to stealing from Boots in Hayle and Crew Clothing Ltd in St Ives, in July, and to fraud which she committed when she returned the goods as faulty to obtain a refund.
She also admitted a further fraud on June 26 and a breach of a suspended sentence last year.
