Heroin seized in swoop at Hayle
TWO people in Hayle were arrested last week on suspicion of being involved in the supply of heroin.
Police executed a warrant on a property at Melyn Close on Thursday, October 3 and arrested a man and a woman, under the Misuse of Drugs Act.
Sergeant Mike Friday, who organised the warrant, said: "A quantity of heroin was seized and two people were arrested, a 36-year-old female and a 45-year-old male, both from Hayle. They were both arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of heroin."
The pair are currently on police bail until January, while further inquiries and a forensic examination of the items are carried out.

Sergeant Friday added: "Positive action will be taken against heroin dealers, as not only does heroin harm those who use it, but to fund their habits many users resort to crime which affects the whole community."
