Highstreet Honey: Truro girl in final of FHM model search
A TRURO beauty has made the final 10 of a high-profile national magazine competition.
Stunning Charlotte Thomson, 21, had to keep her achievement secret for three months after learning she made the semi-final cut in FHM's High Street Honeys contest.
She already knew she was in the top 100, but could only now reveal her top 10 spot.
And with her chances of victory now down to only a public vote, she is asking her friends, family, neighbours and West Briton readers to help her get there.
Aspiring model Charlotte, of Truro, said: "I found out I was in the final 10 in November so I could do the photo shoot, but had to keep it completely quiet until the magazine came out.
"It was a complete nightmare because I was dying to tell everyone.
"I did enter as couple of years ago, but missed the interview because I was on holiday, so I was gutted.
"Now it feels absolutely amazing because about 14,000 girls had entered and I'm not quite sure how I've done it.
"I've had a lot of support in Truro and am the only girl from Devon or Cornwall still in it, so I'm hoping people will continue to support me."
The top prize just around the corner is £10,000, a television presenting contract and a cover shoot for FHM.
To vote for Charlotte visit www.fhm.com/charlottethomson or text HONEY to 86145 to receive a link to a phone vote website, all for the cost of a standard text.

“21? She looks more like 31, I've seen a lot better looking girls than Charlotte from Cornwall but then again they're probably not up their selves enough to enter this sort of thing!!”

“Good luck, how come when it comes to things like this and lap dancing clubs oldder woman come out from under a stone and say its wrong. The girls dont get forced to do what there doing plus its very good money and in Charlotte case she might geta chance to see the world in stead of being stuck in Cornwall and working at a supermarket .”

“Clara -
how about you stop being so high-and-mighty. Good luck to the girl. How people make money is entirely personal choice, she is doing no-one any harm. If men are stupid enough to waste their money on on looking at girls, then good luck to her for making the most of it.
Perhaps there might be a little bit of jealousy?
Best of luck in the competition.”

“How wonderful to see women with ambition - as body parts for sad men to leer at. Pink got it right when she sang Stupid Girls. I despair of women ever being taken seriously when girls like this consider stripping for porn rags the highest achievment they can aspire to.”
