A COMMUNITY group formed to support a village primary school has received support from a local business.

Every year Lizard Peninsula Holiday Cottages supports a local charity or community group with its visitor payback scheme, giving £5 for every short break or weekly booking, and £10 for two-week stays.

For 2012 it backed Coverack Space 2000 (CS2000), initially established more than ten years ago to fund the extra classroom 'space' in Coverack Primary School.

The group has since continued to run events and activities to benefit the community throughout the year.
