Home and away ties for Cornish sides in FA Vase
Cornwall’s two remaining sides in this season’s FA Carlsberg Vase discovered their third round fate following Monday’s draw at Wembley Stadium.
Saltash United, who produced one of the results of the second round on Saturday, winning 3-0 at Western League premier division Buckland Athletic, have been handed a home tie, with Wessex League outfit Alresford Town the visitors to Kimberly Stadium on December 7.
Alresford, based in Hampshire, are currently fourth in the Wessex League premier division, after finishing runners up last season. They clinched their place in the third round draw after winning 4-1 at Verwood Town on Saturday.
Saltash's involvement in the Vase means their Cornwall Senior Cup tie with Illogan will be played on a new date, with league officials proposing the following week, December 14.

Bodmin were due to play at Porthleven in the Cornwall Senior Cup on December 7, and the league are also proposing that be played the following week on December 14.
