Home pro-am win caps Week
A HOME victory in the final event of the week last Friday was the icing on the cake of another highly successful Truro Golf Week.
The team honours in the Truro Pro-Am went to home professional Nigel Bicknell partnered by the city club's amateurs Chris John, Jacko Sanders and Simon Lord with a medal score of 126 on a blustery day.
They pipped Bournemouth pro Gary Emerson's team by a single shot and the latter in turn edged Nicholas Cook's team into third place on countback.
Porthpean's Tony Nash and Emerson shared the individual professional's prize after both returned two over par rounds of 69, two shots clear of Falmouth's Nick Rogers, Cook and Dinnaton's Paul Hendriksen.
