Hospital to reopen
HEALTH chiefs have announced that Launceston Community Hospital will fully reopen to the public after it was hit by staff shortages and refurbishment work was carried out.
The cottage hospital partially reopened in April after extensive work.
It had been closed in February by Peninsula Community Health after the dangerous legionella bacteria was found in the water system.
The facility also suffered with staffing problems.
