The lights were switched-on by Polperro “Lord Mayor” Nathan Toms, assisted by Carnival Queen, Erin Varney, and princess Mia Beard.
Robert Chisman, chairman of the Christmas lights, said: “It went very well. This year we replaced some of the lights over the Big Green, got some new LED lights of angels and stars. It really brightened the green up.
“I’d like to say thanks to all those helped, particularly with the main car park, which was free. I think that made a difference.”
