Hunt for man who grabbed schoolgirl
Police are hunting a man who assaulted a schoolgirl in Devon by grabbing her around the neck. The 11-year old was pushed against a wall by the stranger in Richmond Terrace, Barnstaple, on Thursday at 4.15pm. The girl, who was not injured, said the man was white, in his 30s with wavy light brown or dark blonde hair flecked with grey. He wore a grey hooded top and white trainers, had dark eyes and was unshaven. After letting the girl go the man ran from Richmond Street into Hills View where he got into a white, sign-written, van, possibly with a 62 plate, and drove away.
