Hunt returns to village again
HISTORY was made in Tregony at the weekend when the Four Burrow Hunt met at the Kings Arms for the first time in living memory.
Watched by dozens of residents who lined the village streets, around 40 to 50 riders and 80 hounds took part in a trail hunt which led across open country in the direction of Caerhays.

Chairman Jim Pascoe said: "It was a magnificent occasion, in fantastic weather, and was very well supported.
"People told us it was 50 to 60 years since the hunt last met in Tregony. We were treated to a wonderful reception and thanks go to the Kings Arms' landlord and landlady Kay and Darren Heather for their hospitality."
The hunt, which has a history dating back 200 years, is based at Scorrier and takes its name from the Stone Age Four Burrows burial mound at the heart of its terrain.
The hunt has been consistently against the ban on hunting foxes and believes it is only a matter of time before the law prohibiting it is repealed.
Mr Pascoe said: "We continue to oppose the ban and are keeping on as normal, for example not breeding hounds differently, in the hope that in the future we'll be able to hunt properly again."
