Illogan motorcyclist taken to hospital following a crash on A30 eastbound near Avers interchange
A MOTORCYCLIST from Illogan was taken to hospital with head injuries following a crash on the A30 eastbound near Redruth this morning.
Police, ambulance and the fire service were called to Avers interchange at 10.55am following the collision between a green Mercedes Vito van and a Honda CB500 motorcycle.
The male motorcyclist, aged 21, sustained injuries to his face and shoulder and was taken to the Royal Cornwall Hospital Treliske in Truro.
A police spokesman said the rider has been reported for driving without due care and attention.
