Pirates took over Wadebridge Primary School when they enjoyed a visit from Cornish author Jack Trelawny. He is a children's fiction writer who has written a series of six books in the Kernowland series set in an imaginary Cornwall. He talked to the children about his writing and signed copies of his books. Teacher Jeremy Northcott said: "There's nothing like adventure to get children reading.
