Investment in town as two new shops open
SALTASH'S mayor has opened two brand new stores, providing more than 20 jobs for the town.
Martin Gee cut the ribbon at The Original Factory Shop which is investing £250,000 in Saltash on Saturday, June 2, as well as More Than Art, a coffee shop selling art and jewellery in Keast Mews.

Original Factory Shop store manager Gary Rudd said he was confident the store would breathe new life into the town centre and play a very important role in the local community.
The company is launching its 'Make a Difference' campaign in Saltash, searching for a local community organisation to support.

"This initiative has raised over £100,000 for local causes across the UK since it was founded two years ago and now we are looking forward to making a difference in Saltash," said Mr Rudd.
Local people can nominate anyone who needs a helping hand. Nomination forms can be collected in the store and should be submitted by Friday, July 6.
