Jack's haircut for charity
JACK Moss, from Padstow, didn't think much of his mum telling him he needed a haircut, but now the brave 12-year-old has had his long locks shorn to raise money for charity.
His proud grandmother, Rosemary Brinham, said it all started when Jack's mum Emelie-Rose Griffiths suggested he should get his hair trimmed.
"She thought it was too long, and he went off in a huff. But then Jack came back and said he wanted to have his head shaved instead for Macmillan Cancer Support, as his aunty had recently been diagnosed with cancer and Jack had heard how helpful Macmillan had been," she said.
Stacey Colwill, of Phaze2 hair salon in Padstow, did the deed, and collection tins are available in the town to help Jack's fundraising effort.
Donations can be made at Old Customs House, Old Ship Hotel, The London Inn, Golden Lion and the TIC.
