AFC Bournemouth have revealed that former England goalkeeper David James is training with the club.

The 42-year-old, who has accrued 53 international caps, is a free agent following his release from Bristol City last season.

He had been training with Exeter City this term. Bournemouth manager Paul Groves and advisor Harry Redknapp are looking to shore up a porous defence, as only basement dwellers Bury have conceded more goals than the Cherries in npower League One.
