Jasmine plays in the FA Women's Super League as a midfielder for Bristol Academy where she is studying. She has featured in the U19s' squad.

She said: "The whole experience was unbelievable, playing a competitive game when we knew we had to win was a massive buzz to me and the team.

"Missing out on the previous trip to La Manga because of injury was disappointing but then getting selected and playing the full three 90 minutes was amazing."

Proud parents Sue and Doug were able to see Jasmine play in the match against Finland and they are so happy that all the hard work Jasmine has put in over the years is beginning to pay off.

Jasmine said: "I have had great support from my family ever since I took up football and from my coaches. When you get to this level, the training is very demanding and the coaches expect a lot of you."

She has been kicking a ball ever since she can remember and joined Goonhavern Girls FC when she was 10.

Jasmine has since played for Truro City Girls and was in the U16' squad at the Cornwall FA Girls' Centre of Excellence.

She said: "I really want to thank all the coaches who've helped me over the years I've played football."
