Jo hits heights for Ella's Memory
A TRURO legal executive has completed an epic journey and scaled the heights of South Africa's Table Mountain to raise more than £2,000 for Ella's Memory.
The West Briton-backed charity was launched by Martyn and Emmillie Selley after their child was stillborn last December.

Taking a breather in pink high heels – worn in honour of the West Briton-backed Ella's Memory – is Jo Beard, who reached the peak of Table Mountain in South Africa, raising £2,000 for the charity.
Jo Beard, of Carlyon and Son in Truro, scaled the mountain with her partner, Nick Taylor, executive chef at Indaba restaurant, reaching the summit at 4,000ft along the Skeleton Gorge in under three hours.
"We managed to reach the peak in good time, despite the cloud coming in near the top.
"All I could see were the ropes and ladders in front of me, which was scary when you know there is a sheer cliff drop just a few feet away," said Jo, who swapped her walking boots for pink high heels at the peak in honour of Ella's Memory.
"The views at the top were breathtaking.
"We could see Robben Island, where Nelson Mandela was imprisoned, and Cape Town behind us," said Jo, who found the descent more challenging as the rocky terrain made it tough going.
Anyone wishing to donate to the charity, which hopes to raise £5,000 to improve the Royal Cornwall Hospital's Daisy Suite, that is offered to parents suffering the trauma of a stillbirth or miscarriage, can do so by going to the computer web link: www.justgiving.com /ellas-memory200kmchallenge.
