Kayaker rescued near Mullion
Penlee lifeboat was called out on Saturday afternoon to help a kayaker in trouble off Poldhu Cove, near Mullion.
Falmouth coastguard said that a 64-year-old man had fallen out of his kayak and was unable to get back in. The coastguard was alerted by a friend who was in another boat. Both people, experienced kayakers who wore wetsuits and lifejackets, were taken by the lifeboat team to Mullion Cove to be checked by paramedics.
