Kurt's latest show is a lot of old bull
Celebrated artist Kurt Jackson has been invited to help curate an exhibition at the Royal Cornwall Museum which combines his own paintings with artefacts from the collection.
One item which attracted his interest in particular was a small bronze Apis bull found in a hedge in St Just in 1832 and judged to originate from the late Egyptian period. The relic inspired Kurt to mine some tin from a deposit in Cot Valley and create his own St Just Bull.

The process has been filmed by the BBC and will be broadcast on its Inside Out programme later this year. He has also photographed every bull with its farmer in St Just parish as part of the project.
Kurt Jackson And St Just runs until November 2.
