FIVE teaching jobs have been created at a new language centre in Truro.

The Truro Language Centre, (TLC) at the Kip Mcgrath Centre on Lemon Street offers courses in French, German, Russian, Mandarin Chinese and Spanish.

TLC owner Sarah Farrell said: "I already run a franchise providing English and maths tuition for children. I was approached by several language teachers asking if they could run courses, and I found that I had space in the building to accommodate them."

The language courses will run all year round, depending on demand, with separate sessions for children and adults.
