League table triumph for non-selective St Joseph's
St Joseph's School in Launceston, Cornwall has been ranked in the top ten in the country in the Sunday Times National league table for small independent schools. Within this league there are only two non-selective schools above St Joseph's and they are in the north of England.
The school was ranked based on its 2012 GCSE results where 54% of pupils achieved A*/A grades.
Head Teacher, Mrs Sue Rowe, says: "We are thrilled to have come so high in the league table. We will continue to provide an excellent education with small classes and high expectations. For a non-selective school our results are truly magnificent and we are incredibly proud of the pupils and what they achieve."
